We do not breed. This is our very first litter of Sheepadoodles and thought we would keep all nine puppies until we decided as a family that it would no longer be possible and have decided to place them in loving forever homes.
Sheepadoodles are considered to be low allergy-triggering dogs because they are bred to shed very little, if at all, like their Poodle parent. However, no dog is truly hypoallergenic because they all shed skin and other cells that can cause problems for people with allergies.
Even though Sheepadoodles do not shed, they DO require regular brushing to make sure their coat doesn't mat. Typical grooming is every 6 weeks for a bath and cut, and every 1-3 weeks for a bath.
Having these procedures done on your puppy too soon can have a negative impact on healthy growth. We ask that you not have your pup spayed or neutered until they are finished growing. For most breeds, this is between the ages of 6 and 12 months. Once this procedure has been completed, you can email a copy of this to Sheepadoodledooaz@gmail.com This fulfills the spay and neuter agreement that you signed on our puppy application agreeing not to breed your pup.
Your puppy has been weaned off mama by 8 weeks and is already eating dry kibble. We recommend not making any major changes to puppy food within the first 3 days at their new home. Our puppies are given Kirkland puppy food from costco. After 3 days you can slowly introduce new food mixed with their old food and slowly transition proportions until your pup is eating their new food.
